

Meet Theresa
Theresa Correa McMichen is an attorney in the firm’s litigation practice. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including matters involving restrictive covenants, commercial contracts, banking disputes, employment disputes, and insurance-related litigation. She represents a wide range of clients including businesses, insurers, and individuals involved in commercial disputes. As part of her practice, Theresa regularly appears before state and federal courts, including at the appellate level.
In addition to assisting clients through litigation, Theresa’s practice also includes working with clients to investigate internal complaints including allegations of harassment, discrimination, and executive improprieties.
Outside of the firm, Theresa volunteers her time as a moot court coach for Marquette University Law School students and is actively involved in the Milwaukee Bar Association and Hispanic National Bar Association.
While in law school, Theresa was a Judicial Intern for Justice Jill Karofsky of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She also held leadership positions with the Hispanic Latino Law Student Association and First-Generation Professionals and volunteered with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic.
