Yamilett’s practice focuses on various aspects of corporate and securities law. She assists with public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and SEC compliance and reporting.
While in law school, Yamilett served as a Comment Editor for the Marquette Law Review and as President of the Organization for Student Wellbeing. She was actively involved in the Association for Women Lawyers and the Hispanic Law Student Association. She served as a Student Associate for the Marquette University Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic where she worked directly with entrepreneurs and small businesses on various projects, including entity choice and formation as well as drafting and preparing service contracts and copyright compliance policies.
