Charles (Andy) A. Gordon

Meet Andy

Andy Gordon is a member of Godfrey & Kahn’s Litigation practice and Securities & Shareholder Disputes team in the firm’s Milwaukee office.

His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis in securities and corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, shareholder derivative litigation, business torts, contracts, banking and financial services, and real estate. Andy has represented clients in both federal and state courts throughout the country.

In addition, Andy regularly advises boards of directors and management on corporate governance issues and statutory and fiduciary duties, including responding to shareholder records requests and derivative demands. 

Andy received a B.S. from the United States Military Academy – West Point, and a J.D. cum laude from Marquette University Law School.

Prior to law school, Andy served seven years as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army.  Andy is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center and Past President of the University School of Milwaukee Alumni Association.

Andy was recently recognized as a Business Litigation “Rising Star” by Wisconsin Super Lawyers.
