

Meet Chris
Chris Noyes is Of Counsel in the firm’s Milwaukee office and a member of the Corporate practice. With a practice that encompassed general corporate, corporate governance, securities and corporate finance issues over his 40-year career with Godfrey & Kahn, Chris represented public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, mezzanine and senior debt financing, and public and private equity and debt transactions. Chris also served as a director of several private companies and provided legal and strategic and corporate governance advice to businesses and their management and boards of directors.
Chris has served two terms as President of Fox Point Lutheran Church and served on its Executive Committee and Church Council. Chris recently completely a nine-year term as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy—Wisconsin. While on the Board, he served two-year terms as Chair of the Board of Trustees, Chair of the Nominating and Trustee Affairs Committee and Chair of the Philanthropy Committee and served for six years as a member of the Executive Committee. He continues to serve TNC as an Emeritus Trustee and a member of several committees of the Board. Chris is a member of the Board of Directors of the Burke Center for Ecosystem Research, Inc. (Ashland, WI). He is the President of the Village of River Hills and serves on its Board of Trustees. He has been involved with a number of charitable organizations over the years, including the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters, and Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee.
