

Meet Leah
Leah is a member of the Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring practice in the Madison office. She has more than fourteen years of experience representing Fee Examiners and Fee Committees in large, complex Chapter 11 bankruptcies, including handling negotiation and litigation of disputes. Her work combines extensive quantitative and qualitative analysis. Leah has also been involved with many aspects of customized database development and data management.
Leah’s fee review engagements have included matters involving General Motors, Lehman Brothers Holdings, Energy Future Holdings, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and related entities, and FTX Trading, Ltd.
In addition to her work on bankruptcy and restructuring matters, Leah brings more than six years of experience helping trade vendors and creditors navigate facets of insolvency, bankruptcy, and financial distress. Her recent work includes litigation and resolution of executory contract disputes, critical vendor status, claims objections, and avoidance actions.
Earlier in her career, Leah also has extensive background handling civil litigation matters involving employment-related claims, wage and hour disputes, product liability, insurance defense and e-discovery.
While in law school, Leah interned at the Dane County Circuit Court with the Honorable Nicholas J. McNamara and prepared tax returns as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. In her free time, she enjoys competitive speed puzzling.
