Patrick Murphy appointed Vice-Chair of ABA Banking Law Committee October 16, 2017
MILWAUKEE, WI (Oct. 16, 2017) ─ Godfrey & Kahn attorney Patrick Murphy was appointed Vice-Chair of the Banking Law Committee at the American Bar Association (ABA) 2017 Business Law Section Annual Meeting. Previously, Murphy served as the Co-Chairman of Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Initiatives subcommittee of the ABA Banking Law Committee.
Murphy is a shareholder in the Banking & Financial Institutions Practice Group. Patrick concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising transactions, bank and bank holding company formations, general securities, financing transactions, and regulatory and compliance matters.
The mission of the 1,900+ member Banking Law Committee is to act as principal Business Law Section Committee dealing with laws relating to banking and financial serves activities conducted through banks and other regulated intermediary financial institutions.
