Meet Nicholas
Nicholas Hahn is an associate in the Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring practice, where he focuses on bankruptcy, insolvency, Wisconsin receiverships and commercial litigation. He has extensive experience in all chapters of bankruptcy, including an emphasis on agricultural bankruptcies. As a former U.S. Navy linguist and intelligence analyst who served in Iraq, Nick takes pride in his ability to gain a deep, comprehensive grasp of the details in each case.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Nick was a judicial clerk at the Bankruptcy Court, District of Hawaii. He also worked at a boutique insolvency firm representing debtors, creditors, Chapter 7 panel trustees, and representing clients in Chapter 128 receiverships.
Outside of the office, Nick has taken an active role in the Oshkosh Southwest Rotary Club’s Project Peru. Nick enjoys practicing Czech and Korean and teaching himself Spanish. After moving to Wisconsin from Hawaii, Nick stays active by ice skating and playing hockey in the winter and rowing on the Fox River in warmer weather.
