Meet Rebecca
Rebecca Hamrin counsels a wide range of clients and is experienced in all phases of complex commercial real estate law transactions, including sales, acquisitions, development, leasing, and financing transactions.
Her experience includes representing developers in ground lease negotiations in connection with mixed use development, representing national developers in the sales and acquisitions of commercial properties and student housing developments, and representing national clients in their roles as landlords and tenants in complex commercial leases for a broad range of applications, including technical shipyard uses, office uses in major cities, such as Washington, D.C., and warehousing, manufacturing, hospitality and retail uses. In addition, Rebecca has advised numerous international corporate clients and private equity clients on all real estate components of M&A transactions.
Another significant part of Rebecca’s practice is representing lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate transactions, including several multi-million dollar refinancing transactions, and other forms of alternative financing, such as tax credit financing matters.
Prior to returning to Godfrey & Kahn, Rebecca spent three years at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she was a Director of Master Legal Studies and Associate Director of the Pro Bono and Public Interest Programs and Career Development.
