Meet Gene
Gene Schaeffer is a member of the Labor, Employment & Immigration practice in the Madison office. He concentrates his practice primarily in immigration law.
Gene counsels many firm clients on a variety of immigration-related business and employment issues. He advises clients on a full range of immigration-related services and advocacy, including H-1Bs, O-1s, TNs, and L-1s. He also works with employers on the various steps of the employment-based permanent residence process and naturalization. In addition, Gene advises clients on employment issues related to I-9 compliance, I-9 audits, and E-verify.
Gene routinely works with employers in numerous industries including manufacturing, professional services, insurance, higher education, public school districts, technology companies, retail, and health care.
