In 2020, the workplace as we knew it was turned inside out and employers are now managing employees who feel pushed to the brink. Under these challenging circumstances, even employees who might not otherwise complain may suddenly be more apt to vocalize their grievances.

FMLA in the wild: Practical applications of FMLA and other leave laws

After reviewing FMLA basics, we’ll discuss tips for managing FMLA leaves, including an in-depth review of intermittent leave, and explore scenarios that help evaluate the nuanced application of FMLA to various situations and address common questions. Throughout the presentation, we will highlight how FMLA intersects with the ADA, workers’ compensation and state leave laws.
