Meet Emma
Emma Janicki is an attorney in the Investment Management practice. She represents investment companies, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and closed-end funds, and investment advisers with respect to SEC compliance and reporting obligations, fund registration, corporate governance, and general business matters. Emma also advises on the regulatory, operational and ongoing securities law compliance issues of unregistered funds.
Emma assists with the preparation of fund registration statements, shareholder reports, proxy statements and other SEC filings and coordinates with SEC staff. She advises boards of directors of investment companies and other clients on navigating the complex regulatory landscape surrounding investment company and investment adviser regulations, helping clients stay in compliance with SEC rules and reporting requirements. Emma specializes in building lasting, trust-based relationships with clients and fosters a collaborative working environment to help them meet their objectives while minimizing risk and maintaining compliance.
